Bill was my first boss in Contracting at the Corps of Engineers, and my favorite. We went to the Derby for several years together and many dances. He was always a joy to be around. The last time I saw Bill was at my mother-in-law's funeral, and I was so happy to see him living life to the fullest. He told me he was engaged and still enjoying everything about life. My sympathies to all of you.

"They are so cute!" This has been a blessed, fun, and happy six years that we have spent with Bill. Such a kind thoughtful gentleman, he was very special to all of us. We will miss him more than words can express. God Bless, Bruce and Kathy Cash and family.

So sorry to hear about Bill's passing. He and my mom and dad Charlie and Ruby Smith were great friends when he was married to Dora Cheeseman. We all went to Church of Christ for many years.Grew up with Janet and Mary. Was sorry to hear about Mary's passing. We have been gone from Charlestown since 1959. Lots of good times. Prayers for the families and friends.

I am heartbroken over such a significant loss of a man like Bill Chessman. He was truly an Extra Miler in every sense of the term. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace, Bill. with love, Carol Dawson (always your X) :-)
