Loretta Dean Selby

Loretta Dean Selby, 84, of Clarksville, IN passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022, at Clark Rehabilitation Center in Clarksville, IN.

Loretta was born on September 26, 1937, in Jeffersonville, IN the daughter of Oscar and Cora Waters Dean.  She was a former telephone operator with Bell South and worked in security for Kroger in the Louisville area.  Loretta was a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary at the Clarksville, IN post and the Moose Lodge in Sellersburg, IN.

Loretta is survived by her nieces, Patricia Walters, Joyce Zipp, Rechell Wilson, Anita Harbin, Brenda Hogan, and Peggy Greenwell; nephew, Jay Walters; sister-in-law, Mary Logsdon; several great nieces and nephews; special friends, Paul and Marilyn Logsdon.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Neal Selby; brother, Wayne Dean; sister, Mary Lou Walters; nephews, Jerry Dean and Michael Dean.

Life Celebration Gathering will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.
