Kathy Lynn Johnson

Kathy Lynn Johnson, 61, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Baptist Health New Albany.

She was born on January 12, 1960 to Finis D Johnson and Dorothy Pruitt Nelson in Jeffersonville, IN. She is preceded in death by her father, Finis D Johnson and sister, Donna Johnson.
Kathy was a daycare teacher, spending much of her time with the 2 to 4 year old groups.  She spent her free time knitting, crocheting, watching soap operas, babysitting and babying her fur baby Toby.  She was most excited about becoming a grandma again in April, when Baby Maverick arrives.

Kathy is survived by her son, Kyle Johnson and wife Brittany; her mother, Dorothy Nelson; siblings, Theresa Hayko, Dale Johnson, Brenda Martin and Carl Johnson; grandchildren, Caden Punch and baby Maverick Johnson coming in April.  

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Grayson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Grayson Funeral Home. 

The family respectfully requests that contributions in Kathy's memory be made to Grayson Funeral Home to help with expenses.
