Kaitlyn Nicole Schindler

Kaitlyn Nicole Schindler, 25, of Marysville, IN passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021.  She was born in Jeffersonville, IN on November 3, 1995, to Kevin and Jody (Pennington) Schindler.Kaitlyn was a 2014 graduate of New Washington High School. She graduated from Vincennes University College of Nursing in 2016. Kaitlyn was a Registered Nurse. She traveled to many states to serve in areas where there was great need for her skills. She was a dedicated, compassionate caregiver to the many patients she served.

Kaitlyn’s favorite days were spent with her many friends. She made friends easily and stayed close, even when her work took her to different places. Her friends knew that she was always there for them. Kaitlyn loved being outdoors. She enjoyed time on the family farm, hunting, and fishing. She loved animals, especially her dog Sadie.

Kaitlyn is survived by her mother and stepfather, Jody and Tim Sexton of New Washington, IN; brother, Collin Schindler of New Washington, IN; stepsisters, Jenna Wilson of Sellersburg, IN and Kayla Sexton of Charlestown, IN; grandparents, Dennis and Linda Pennington and Paula Schindler all of New Washington, IN.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Kevin Schindler and her grandfather, Robert Schindler.

Kaitlyn had a spirit for adventure, and she loved to travel. She was fearless and lived life to its fullest. She was loved by many and will be remembered always.

The family of Kaitlyn Nicole Schindler will receive friends on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and again on Friday from 9:00 until 11:00 am at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington IN.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11:00 am also at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington.  Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, IN.
