Jason Spear

Jason Spear, 46 of Charlestown, IN was called home on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Baptist Floyd in New Albany, IN.

Jason was born on August 13, 1974 in New Albany, IN the son of John Spear and Rajean “Jeannie” Adkins Dunn. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and a self-employed contractor. Jason enjoyed many things in life including hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and just being outdoors. Above all Jason loved spending time with family and his two grandkids the most.

Jason is survived by the love of his life Cindy Spear whom he married on August 19, 2011. He and Cindy had three daughters together, Ryan Akemon( T.J.) of New Albany, IN, Alexis Spear of Louisville, KY, and Megan Spear of Scottsburg, IN; father, John Spear of Charlestown, IN; mother Jeannie Dunn of Charlestown, IN; brother, Jeremy Spear(Megan) of Charlestown, IN; sisters, Jennifer Abbott(Scott) and Jamie Aaron(Brian) of Charlestown, IN; granddaughter, I’Leigh Spear and grandson, Kristian Cole.

Family and friends will gather together to remember Jason’s life at his father’s house on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. at 9503 Charlestown-New Market Road, Charlestown, IN.
