Irene C. Segraves (Mathis) Amos

Irene C. Segraves Amos 94, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2020 at her home.

Irene was born on September 9, 1925 in North Wilkesboro, NC to Gordon Daniel. and Gradie Henderson Mathis.  She was a retired Inspector for Phillip Morris and a member of the North Charlestown Church of God.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Amos and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Barbara King of Jeffersonville, Russ Segraves (Nancy) of Jeffersonville, Terry Segraves of Kissimmee, FL, and Vickie Warner (Wayne) of Shalimar, FL; brothers, Lynn and Reid Mathis of North Wilkersboro, NC; sisters, Toby Call of Charlotte, NC, Erma Everheart of Winston-Salem, NC, Katie Inscore of Wilkesboro, NC and Geraldine Nicks of Advance, North Carolina; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Monday January 20, 2020 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12 pm to 4 pm on Sunday and after 9 am on Monday.
