Helen Louise (Henry) Burke

Helen Louise Burke, 103 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, IN.

Helen was born on January 14, 1919, in Deputy, IN the daughter of Claude Allen and Mamie Pheasant Henry. She was the former owner of Norge Village Cleaning & Dry Cleaning in Madison, IN and enjoyed American Saddle Bred Horses.

Helen is survived by her daughter-in-law’s, Susan Burke and Nancy Burke both of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Angie Burke, James Burke Jr., Rick Burke, Jack Thomas Burke, Rob Burke, Scott Burke, Jeff Burke, Mike Burke, and Gina Reynolds; 22 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Carl Burke in 2007 sons, Richard Lynn Burke husband of Susan in 2010 and James Allen Burke husband of Nancy in 2019, two brothers and one sister.

Life Celebration Services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday.
