Dorothy Jenell Giltner, 78, of New Washington, IN, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020.

She was born on August 11, 1941 to Garland and Mae Woods Cherry in Scottsville, Kentucky. She loved gardening, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Auxiliary of VFW Post 1427 in Charlestown, IN and the Auxiliary of American Legion Post #62 in New Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Ray Giltner; brothers, Jay Cherry, Dug Cherry, Kelly Cherry, George Robert Cherry and sister, Annie Anderson.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Phil Giltner of Kansas City, KS; daughter, Beverly Giltner of Tulsa, OK; son, Ed (Carol) Giltner of New Washington; daughter, Krystal Giltner of Mauckport, IN; Daughter, Amanda (Aaron) Smietanski of Tulsa, brother, Garland Cherry, Jr., of Charlestown; grandson, Braylin Brandenburg, granddaughter, Paige Brandenburg, granddaughter, Aurora Smietanski, grandson, Caleb Smietanski, granddaughter, Noelle Smietanski, granddaughter, Anika Smietanski and grandson, J. R. Brandenburg and several great grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
