Diana (Richey) Goedeker

Diana Goedeker, 70, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

She was born on February 19, 1950 in New Castle, IN to Merle and Esther Vankirk Richey.  She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandkids and her sister and was an avid storyteller.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John E. Goedeker, Jr. and grandson, Aiden Maples.

Diana is survived by her daughters, Rita Goedeker Proffitt of New Washington, IN and Loretta C. Goedeker of Charlestown;  sister, Emma Richey of Indianapolis, IN;  granddaughters, Karen Proffitt Cabrera, Jasmine Proffitt and Andie Maples; grandson, Jason Proffitt and nieces and nephews including, Becky Richey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at St. Michael Catholic Church Charlestown with burial to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2 pm to 7 pm on Monday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.
