Charles 'Charlie' Korte Jr.

Charles ‘Charlie’ N. Korte Jr. 64, of Marysville, IN passed away on March 16, 2023, at Clark Memorial Hospital, in Jeffersonville.  He was born on April 30, 1958, in Memphis, IN to Charles Sr and Vivian Druin Korte.  Charlie was an ironworker and heavy equipment operator, a job he loved the best.

Charlie is preceded in death by his father, and his loving companion, Debra Byers; grandmother, Ardella Druin, and his first wife, Teresa Powers.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving mother, Vivian; brothers, Theron, and Mark Korte; his sister, Pamela Maupin; his daughters, Misty, Rachel, and Sarah; son, Charlie III; and several grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN.

Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Charlestown.
