Mr. Hale died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
He was born on May 12, 1923 in Knox Co., KY the son of Tom and Carrie Patterson Hale. He was a retired Millwright for the former I.C.I in Charlestown, Army-Air Corp Veteran of WWII, a member of the Charlestown American Legion and V.F.W. and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
He is survived by his wife Mae Martin Hale; son, Charles Hale, Brandon, MS; sister, Selda Smith, Detroit, MI.
