Winona June Hostetler, 72 of New Washington, IN died Friday July 5, 2013 at her home.
She was born on October 26, 1940 in New Washington to Arthur and Mary Poole Willey. Winona was a former custodian for St. Catherine Regional Hospital, Ivy Tech and Wellstone Hospital and a hardcore I.U. basketball fan and she coached girl’s softball and basketball at New Washington High School. She was member of the First Baptist Church in New Washington, Past President of the East End Democrat Club and was very active in politics. She was a former member of the Washington Township board for a number of years and past member of the Eastern Star and English Shrine Guild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Chuck Miller, Ronnie, Ted, Keith and Bud Willey.
Winona is survived by her husband of 48 years Bill Hostetler, sons; Mike Hostetler (Karen) of Charlestown, IN and Tony Hostetler (Lorinda) of Lexington, IN. Grandchildren Ashley Hostetler, Walker Flinders, Hunter Hostetler and Mason Hostetler several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday July 11, 2013 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9 a.m. on Thursday.
