Wilma L. (Stockdale) Cox

Wilma L. Cox 85 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday April 16, 2022, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

She was born on March 5, 1937, in Jefferson County, IN to Robert and Esther Nicholson Stockdale.  Wilma was a member of North Charlestown Church of God and attended First Baptist Church in Charlestown.  She had previously worked at I.C.I.  of Americas, Hart Industries and for many years at the Jay C Store.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents and husband Eugene Cox.

Survivors include her sons, Rick Cox and his wife Jan of Charlestown, IN and Randy Cox of Charlestown; her daughter, Robin Cox Hebner of Charlestown; sisters, Mary Rousch of Madison, IN, Anna Mae Roseberry of Charlestown and Inez Prewitt of Louisville, KY; sister-in-law, Patsy Stockdale of Hanover, IN; grandchildren, Ryan Sheppard, Ashley Thomas, JoLynn Grayson, J.T. Cox, Jason Cox and Janae Asbury; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday April 20, 2022. at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday and after 9:00 am on Wednesday.
