Wilma Jean Conover, 86 of Hanover passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Hanover Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Wilma was born February 3, 1928 in Jefferson County, IN the daughter of Lawrence and Lula Sipe Means. She was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church, former English Shrine Guild and the Charlestown Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Gibson of Madison, Donna Conover of Lexington and Janice Spillman of Madison; sons, Lloyd “Johnny” Conover(Debbie) of Scottsburg and Michael Conover(Vickie) of Lexington; ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Robert Conover Jr., sisters, Ruth Alexander and Eva Clark, infant daughter, Cheryl Conover and grandson, Jeffery Luckett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday February 13, 2014 at the New Bethel Church with burial in New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 10:00 A.M. Thursday until time of service at the Church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in memory of Wilma to the New Bethel Cemetery Association.
