William "Bill'' Goldman Reynolds

Mr. Reynolds, 85, of Charlestown, IN went to be with the Lord on Jan. 6, 2009 while at the Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, IN.
He was born on Oct. 23, 1923 in Scottsville, KY the son of Wilson D. and Bertha Oliver Reynolds who preceded him in death. Mr. Reynolds was a decorated, disabled WWII Naval veteran who also received the Purple Heart, he was a retired postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service in Charlestown, IN and a member of Old Salem United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Ina P. (Hockersmith) Reynolds; two sons Dr. William Roger Reynolds (Suzanne) and Gary Lee Reynolds (Sandy); 9 grandchildren Michelle Prince, Tom Reynolds, Roger Reynolds Jr., Julie Powell, Rebekah Lewellen, Erin Bontrager, Dr. Jonathan Reynolds, Mickey Reynolds, and Nikki Reynolds; 17 great grandchildren; 4 sisters-in-laws, many nieces and nephews, Old Salem Church family, friends, and neighbors.
