William Earl Young, Sr., 81, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday November 13, 2016 at his daughters home.
He was born on June 11, 1935 in Louisville, KY to Gilbert and Elsie Blanton Young. He was a retired Iron Worker and belonged to Local 70 and a member of the Lewis Masonic Lodge in Louisville, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Susan Young and sons, Jesse, William Jr., and Kevin Young.
He is survived by his daughters, Vicki Shrader (Mark) of Charlestown and Crystal Whalen (Daniel) of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren, Amanda Helen, Lisa Young Jones, Kevin Young, Jessica Tate, Christopher Young, Erica Hendrich and Caitlynn Young; great grandchildren, Jayme and Autumn Helen, Keely and Lauren Jones, Kevin Young Jr., Jazmine Young, Kirsten Young, Gavin Young, Cayleigh Young, Pepper Jo Hendrich and Cayden Stufflebean.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday Nov. 16, 2016 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be from 11 am to 8 pm on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
Masonic services will be held at 7 pm on Tuesday.
