William Louis Voskuhl, MD 79, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday November 16, 2013 at his home with his family at his side.
Dr. Voskuhl was born on February 18, 1934 in Covington, KY to Joseph and Clara Tiettmeyer Voskuhl who preceded him in death. He was an Army veteran and graduated from U. of L. Medical School in 1964 and began family practice in 1965. He was a member of the American Medical Association and board certified in Family Practice. He was one the original founders of the North Clark Community Hospital which is now St. Catherine Regional Hospital. He was also a member of the VFW Post 1427.
Survivors include his wife the former Deborah Craig, a son; Kurt Voskuhl (Teresa) of Charlestown, IN, daughters; Mary Lou Voskuhl of Charlestown, IN, Sue Fox (Jon) of Dayton, OH and Christina Voskuhl of Charlestown, IN, sisters Dolores and Joan Voskuhl both of Covinton, KY, Angie Voskuhl of Cincinnati, OH and Charlotte Lasita of Las Vegas, NV., grandchildren; Alicia, Kayla, William and Samuel Voskuhl of Charlestown, IN and Ryan and Spencer Fox of Dayton, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday November 21, 2013 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Interment will be in Charlestown Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Thursday.
