William Albert Stocksdale

William Albert Stocksdale, 72, of Otisco, IN, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at his home.

He was born on February 19, 1949 in New Albany, IN to William and Ruby Booth Stocksdale.  He was a retired pipefitter and member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union and enjoyed hunting, fishing, Westerns especially John Wayne and guns and knives.

William is survived by his wife, Carolyn Stocksdale;  daughter, Melissa (Chester) Melton of Corydon, IN;  son, Chad Stocksdale of New Albany;  Step-daughter, Jennifer Morrison of Henryville, IN;  brothers, Jack (Lois) Oden of New Salisbury, IN, Patrick Oden of Palmyra, IN, David (Donna) Cullen of New Albany and Clint Cullen of New Albany; sister, Glenda (Clarence) Powers of New Albany;  grandchildren, Phillip Hubbard, Montana Morrison, Shelby (Daniel) Vizitiu and Noah (Autumn) Morrison;  great-grandchild, Sophia Vizitiu and Adelyn Morrison.

A Life Celebration Gathering will be held from 12:00 pm to 3:00 PM on Saturday March 13, 2021 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.
