William 'Bill' Trenton Shain

William “Bill” Trenton Shain, 85, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

Bill was born on November 30, 1936, in Short Creek, KY to Samuel Trenton and Mary Alice Lacy Shain.  Bill was a retired data security specialist for the old National City Bank in Louisville.  He was huge UK fan and enjoyed gardening, yard work and visiting the state parks throughout Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Knapp Shain, and his daughter, Stacie Shain of Sellersburg, IN.

Life Celebration Visitation will be on Monday, August 29, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.  Funeral services will be private.
