William Davidson, 82 of Charlestown passed away on Sunday October 2 at The Waters of Scottsburg.
William was born on October 6, 1933 in Clay Co, KY to Johnny and Luellen Smallwood Davidson. He was a retired assembly line worker for 34 years for GE, and a member of the Pekin Saddle Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steve Casey, son-in-law Rick Hogue, sisters Alberta Dabney, and Ruby Stephens-Ringley.
Survivors include his wife Ruth Jones Davidson; daughters Anita Chadwell (Jerry) of Palmyra, IN and Linda Hogue of Charlestown; son Rex Davidson (Naomi) of Clarksville, IN; daughter-in-law Millie Casey of Jeffersonville, IN; brother Frank Davidson (Jo) of Charlestown; sister Norma Carr (Jim) of Clarksville; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Owen Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Friday until the time of services.
