Wayne Douglas Shaffer, 59 of New Albany passed away on Wednesday July 19, 2017 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany. He was born on November 25, 1957 to Herman Louis and Nancy Miller Shaffer in New Albany, IN. He was a graduate of New Albany High School and worked as a truck driver.
Mr. Shaffer is survived by his sisters Penny Ioannidis (George) of Corydon, IN, and Susan Blum (Gerald) of Saucier, MS; and his half-brothers: Roger Shaffer (Norleen) of Clarksville, IN, and Ronnie Shaffer (Jane) of Charlestown, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother William Shaffer.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday July 26, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be on Wednesday beginning at 10:00AM.
