Warren Moss “Bud” Brown, 78, of New Washington died Thursday Feb. 17, 2011 at University Of Louisville Hospital.

He was born on Dec. 8, 1932 in Shively, KY to Herbert and Wanda Moss Brown. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and a former aviation mechanic. He was a member of the Madison VFW Post and the Charlestown Independent Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin sister Wanda Owens.

Bud is survived by his wife the former Patricia Hammond, sons; Warren Dennis Brown of Jeffersonville, IN. Steven Patrick (Kathy) Brown of New Washington, IN, daughter; Kathy (Rick) Persinger of Madison, brother; James H. Brown of Louisville, KY and a sister Martha McKnight of Evans, GA., grandchildren Mandie Lee, Michael Brown, Mariah Meyer, J. D. Deppe, and Alyssa Brown, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday.
