Mrs. Tarter passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at St. Catherine Regional Hospital.
She was born April 16, 1928 in Cincinnati, OH the daughter of Clifford and Lorene Long Willmann. Mrs. Tarter worked in real estate and was a member of First Baptist Church of Sellersburg.
She is survived by husband Kenneth E. Tarter of Charlestown, IN; daughters Debbie Hughes of Charlestown, IN, Tammy Pierce (Gary)of New Albany, IN, and Melanie Beard (Mel)of New Washington, IN; sister Norma Freudenstein (Louis) of Indianapolis, IN; sister-in-laws Ruth Tarter of Jeffersonville, IN and Ida Scholcraft of Salem, IN; several nieces and nephews; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
