Wanda May Farmer 71, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday March 1, 2022 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
She was born on February 12, 1951 in Scottsburg, IN to Wayne T. and Norma D. May Taylor. Wanda was a retired truck driver for R & R/AATCO in Joplin, Missouri, and a member of the Charlestown Chapter of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed gardening, canning, freezing strawberries, and going to Cracker Barrell.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, son, Danny Lee Farmer, Jr., and daughter, Kanetha Farmer.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Danny Farmer, Sr; son, Jarrett Farmer, Sr. and his wife Angelique of Newport Richey, FL; brothers, Eugene Wilson of Scottsburg, IN and Wayne Tommy Taylor of Pekin, IN, Leon Jerome Dennison of New Washington, IN, Kevin Taylor, Brian Taylor and Jeff Taylor all of Salem, IN; sisters, Louise Jones of Scottsburg and Karen Mull of Pekin; grandchildren, Colin Nash, Jarrett Farmer, Jr., Ryan Farmer and Mason Farmer; great grandchildren, Nolan Nash, Norah Nash, Harlow Farmer and Colton Farmer.
Life Celebration Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday March 5, 2022, at The Charlestown Chapter of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with burial in Owen Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 am on Saturday at the church.
