Walker Coomer, Jr., 86 of Madison, IN passed away on February 16, 2015 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
He was born on March 28, 1928 on Athol, Kentucky to Walker and Dora Bryant Coomer, Sr. He was a former laborer in the Heating and Air Conditioning industry and a member of the Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Martha Coomer, son; Charlie Coomer, daughter; Shirley Fox, brother Winston Coomer.
He is survived by his daughter; Juanita Combs of Madison, IN, sons; Roy Coomer of Deputy, IN, Robert Coomer (Pam) of Austin, IN, Elmer Coomer (Wanda) of Ohio and James Coomer of Kentucky, sister; Bertha Pittman of Louisville, KY and 15 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday February 23, 2015 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 am on Monday.
