Ms. Walker was born on May 23, 1927 in Leitchfield, KY to Samuel and Myrtle Cook Johnson and died on Saturday September 29, 2007 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Survivors include her children, Hanna, Virginia, Wanda and Patsy Walker, Violet Randle and Catherine Hall, all of New Albany and a sister Rowena Roberson of Charlestown, 5 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
