Vivian Uebel, 83 of Madison passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at King’s Daughters’ Hospital.
Vivian was born on February 2, 1933 in Warsaw, KY the daughter of Raymond and Margaret King Rogers. She worked in her younger years for the former Inglis Drug Store and the Ivy York Food Shop both in Madison. Vivian enjoyed spending time with her family and was a wonderful cook.
Survivors include her daughter, Beth Owens of Madison; sons, James Uebel of Madison, David Uebel(Nenita) of Omaha, NE and Travis Uebel(Margie) of North Vernon, IN; sister, Betty King of Madison; brother, Tom Ward of Aurora, CO; grandchildren, Chad, Daniel, Dillion, Jorge and Jared; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Daniel and Caroline; great-great-grandchildren, Melanie, Landon and Eli Anna. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Orville Uebel; daughter, Amy Uebel and sister Dale Rogers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover with burial in Sharon Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home until time of services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Vivian may take the form of donations to Sharon Hill Cemetery Association cards will be available at the funeral home.
