Jenny Johnson

Jenny Johnson, 84, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. She was born on February 18, 1942, in Salem, Indiana, to Amiel and Norma (Trusner) Fetz.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Lee Johnson; her son, Shannon Johnson; and a brother, Lawrence Edward Fetz.

Jenny had a true servant's heart; she was a talented seamstress, loving mother, and devoted homemaker. Jenny was an active member of Living Waters House of Prayer in Charlestown. Her ministry was to help organize church dinners, decorate the sanctuary, and sew the drapes that are in it. Jenny was most proud of her card ministry; she made sure that a birthday card, get-well-soon card, or sympathy card was sent to each church member who needed one.

Jenny is survived by her sons, Kevin and his wife, Brenda Johnson, and Jason Johnson; one granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Carter and Jase Lynnwood; two nieces, Kim Fetz and Jessica Taylor, and one nephew, Mike Fetz, all of whom will cherish her memory.

Jenny will be missed by all who had the honor of meeting her and being a part of her life.

Cremation was her wish, and any memorial service will be updated when available.
