Virgil Gibson, Sr., 85 of Otisco, IN passed away on Saturday August 8, 2015 at his home.
He was born on December 14, 1929 in Kentucky to Bobby and Dora Gibson. Virgil was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a retired superintendent with the Clark County Highway Department and a member of the American Legion Post 335 in Charlestown, IN.
He is survived by his daughter, Nonnie Hughes of Otisco; son, Virgil Gibson, Jr; sisters, Vernell Mullins of Whitesburg, KY, Ollie Miller of Sellersburg, IN and Velma Gibson of Otisco; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Henryville, IN. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 8 pm on Monday and after 10 am on Tuesday.
