Virgie Pearl Bolin, 79 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, IN.
Virgie was born on January 5, 1942 in Louisville, KY the daughter of Roy Edgar and Cleo Nation Bruner. She was member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Charlestown. Virgie enjoyed many things in life including the love of family, friends, cooking, baking, reading, music especially country music, dancing and playing games with anyone that would set at her table.
Virgie is survived by her children, Benny Joe Bolin(Barb) of Salem, IN, Walter David Bolin of Charlestown, IN, Robert Scott Bolin(Bridget) of New Salisbury, IN and Betty Gail Cozart(Mike) of Salem, IN; sisters, Earline Masingo of Charlestown, IN and Rita Mitchell of Charlestown, IN; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; friend and caregiver, Barbara Schuler of Charlestown, IN: several nieces and nephews and a host of other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Karen Faye Wheatley; sisters, Edith Bolin, Elizabeth Mae Arnold, Frances Mosby, Mary Christie, Ollie Phillips, Margaret L. Bruner, and Ida J. Bruner; brothers, Roy J. Bruner and William A. Bruner.
Life Celebration Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2021 at Unity Missionary Baptist in Charlestown, IN with Burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Monday at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is entrusted with arrangements.
