Violet Devine (Goforth) Rittman

Violet Goforth Devine Rittman, 77, of Charlestown, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born on October 20, 1935 to Thomas Roy and Loraine Pearl (Roberts) Goforth in Clark County, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of the North Charlestown Church of God. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and every child in the neighborhood called her Granny. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Raymond O. Devine, and her second husband, John Rittman.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Devine of Charlestown, IN, Kevin Devine of Charlestown, IN, and Toby Devine of Scottsburg, IN; sisters, Ida Pearl Crowe of Charlestown, IN, Elizabeth Spencer of New Washington, IN, and Bonnie Arington of Frankfort, KY; brothers, Roy Goforth of Charlestown, IN, and Bob Goforth of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Tiffany, Ashley, Jenny, Jessika, and Ginger; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Landon, Gracie, Jackson, and Case.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 1pm at the Grayson Funeral Home, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3pm to 8pm and after 10 am on Friday.
