Violet Mae (Noe) Crabtree

Violet Noe Crabtree, 87, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at her home.

She was born February 9, 1924 to Harry and Bertha Taflinger Noe in Clark Co., IN. She was a retired employee of Pillsbury Company in New Albany, IN. She is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist in Jeffersonville and a member of the Order of Eastern Star in New Washington.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Albert Crabtree; brothers; Forrest “Buck” Noe, Clifford Noe, and Floyd Noe; sisters; Myra Cole and LaVerne Anderson.

Survivors include her son; David McIntyre (Sue) of Jeffersonville, IN; Daughters;
Linda Clark (Bill) of Grand Junction, CO, and Adrienne Holmes of Clarksville, IN; sisters; Ruth Prather of Jeffersonville, IN,  and Catherine Fuller of Jeffersonville, IN; grandchildren; Rhonda Pugh, Justin Clark, Shayla Garcia, Radawna Clark, and April Simpson; 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12pm to 8pm, and after 10am on Thursday.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
