Vernon Frank “Buck” Lorenz, 71, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born on February 8, 1942 to Frank and LaVeran (Lovins) Lorenz in Floyd County, IN. He was a retired truck driver for Marathon Oil Company. He was a member of the New Washington Masonic Lodge #167 and a member of the Hibernia Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Abney) Lorenz; son, Chris Lorenz (Dianne) of Marietta, GA; daughter, Cheryl Graebe (Don) of Charlestown, IN; sister, Helen Sneed of Sellersburg, IN; brother, Larry Lorenz of Spirit Lake, ID; grandchildren, Alex Head, Cameron Lorenz, MacKenzie Graebe, and Caleb Lorenz
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Saturday. Masonic services will be held on Friday evening at 7pm at the funeral home.
