Verna Marie Weddle, 84, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at her home.
She was born on May 9, 1931 to Clayborn and Nancy Mae (Reynolds) Morrison in Bowling Green, KY. She was a medical assistant at the old Goodman Clinic, a dental assistant for the old Huff Dental Clinic in Sellersburg, and a member of the Mt. Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Henryville.
Survivors include her son, Chris Weddle of Charlestown, IN; daughters, Sue Weddle of Charlestown, IN, and Judy Moss (Jim) of Alexandria, KY; sisters, Vada Dietrich of Memphis, IN, and Dorothy Shrock of Madison, IN; grandchildren, Shana Cress (Scott), Jonathan Moss, Brett Moss, Kelsey Moss, and Christopher Weddle; great-grandchildren, Penelope Rose Cress, and Elias John Cress.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10 am at Mt. Lebanon Presbyterian Church near Henryville, IN with graveside services at 12 pm at Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington Visitation will be held on Friday from 1pm to 8pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown and on Saturday after 9 am at the church.
