Venice Morgan, 94, of Charlestown, passed away Thursday, April 05, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
He was born on March 13, 1918 to James and Dora Boggs Morgan in Whitesburg, KY.
He was a retired mechanic for the Naval Ordnance.
Survivors include his wife, Eula Cornett Morgan; son, David Morgan of Charlestown, IN; Daughters, Sandra Hostettler of New Washington, IN, and Paula Guarine of San Antonio, TX; brothers, Hubert Morgan of Charlestown, IN, and Wade Morgan of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters, Lillian Fields of New Washington, IN, Burnell Kays of Jeffersonville, IN, and Tina Blake of Jeffersonville, IN; 13 Grandchildren; 17 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial to take place in the Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4pm to 8pm, and after 9am on Saturday.
