Van Leslie Applegate, 64 of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. He was born on August 12, 1958, in Jeffersonville to Bob and Marguerite Davis Applegate. Van was a mechanic specialist for AutoZone at numerous locations for 20 years, and a member of the Henryville Methodist Church.
Van is survived by his brother, Robert A. Applegate (Rosemary) of Charlestown, and his nieces and nephews, Jamie Applegate, Mandy Crace, Gabriel Applegate, and Sarah Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Bob and Margaret Applegate, and his brother, Jay Applegate.
Cremation was chosen with a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
