Tyler Jarrett Odle

Tyler Jarrett Odle, 25, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

He was born on August 26, 1994 in Jeffersonville, IN the son of Johnie and Barbara Pettry Odle. He was a employee of Hoosier Turf in Marysville, IN and enjoyed football and basketball having played at Charlestown High School, and was obsessed with cutting grass and was very proud of having the nicest looking yard in the neighborhood.

Tyler had many friends he loved and fans who loved watching him play football. He considered being a father his greatest accomplishment in life.  Everyone that knew Tyler fell in love with him.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Leonie Thompson and grandfather, Joseph Pettry.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Barbara and Johnie  Odle of Charlestown and Patricia Pettry of Charlestown; daughters, Kennedy Odle of New Washington, IN and Ryder Odle of Scottsburg;  sister, Christina (Wesley) Hutchison of Otisco, IN;  brother, Johnie Odle, Jr., of Charlestown;  sister, Tiffany (Jeremy) Carver of Charlestown;  Sister, Jessi (Justin) Odle of Charlestown;  Sister, Kimberly Pettry of Charlestown;  Sister, Jennifer Webb of Charlestown;  Fiance, Dakota Shepherd of Scottsburg;  Grandmother, Marilyn Pettry of Charlestown and Grandfather, Ronnie Odle of Lakeland, Fl and many aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.

Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 and after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
