Treasa Lynn Frazier Messimore, 59 of Nashville, TN and formerly of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday March 6th, 2016 at her home in Nashville.
She was born on August 18th 1956 in Clark County, IN to Irvin and Lavanelle Bentley Frazier who were from Letcher Co. KY. She was preceded in death by her father Irvin Frazier, and father and mother in law, Ronald and Leona Kissinger Messimore who lived in Mt Vernon, IN.
Treasa grew up in Charlestown, IN and was a 1974 graduate of Charlestown High School and graduated from Indiana University with an Education Degree and graduated from Purdue University with a Restaurant & Hotel Management Degree. She worked for the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville and the Sheraton Corporation for over 33 years.
She is survived by her husband, Scott, whom she met while attending Purdue University; son, Ethan Scott Messimore of Nashville, TN; mother, Lavanelle Frazier of Charlestown; brother, I Dewayne Frazier (Phebie) of Charlestown; niece, Vanessa Frazier; nephew, Bristol Frazier both of Charlestown.
Visitation will be from 3 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday March 9, 2016 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with graveside services at 2 pm C.S.T. at Immanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery at 5812 Ford Road North Mt. Vernon, IN
