Travis Lee Craig

May 2, 1971 — July 20, 2025

Charlestown

Travis Craig passed away at his home following a brief bout with cancer. He was a beloved son, brother, colleague, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Samuel and Sharon Craig, and sister, Tammy Craig, his aunt, Kathy (Don) Weber. Travis was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ruby Catherine Crider and Arrie Frances Stewart, both of whom adored their only grandson.

Travis dedicated more than 30 years of his life to Town and Country Ford, working diligently at both the Louisville and Evansville locations. His loyalty and work ethic made a lasting impact on his coworkers and customers alike.

In his younger years, Travis found joy in competitive shooting, restoring classic cars, and playing guitar –pursuits that reflected his attention to detail and creativity. Later in life, he embraced quieter pleasures: playing cards, cheering on the Cincinnati Reds, and generously sharing his encyclopedic knowledge of baseball trivia.

Among his most cherished traditions were the times spent in the kitchen with his dad, crafting fruitcakes during the holidays and on his own perfecting cheesecake recipes to share with loved ones.

Travis will be remembered for his dry wit, generous spirit, love for his family and close friends and the simple joys of life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the WHAS Crusade for Children.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, July, 28, 2025 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial at Owen Creek Cemetery.

Public visitation will be from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
