Tony Roger York, 68, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
He was born on April 23, 1949 to Philip and Freda (Woodward) York in Jeffersonville, IN. He was a construction worker, an Army Veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post 335 in Charlestown. He was preceded in death by his wife Markettia, brother Felix and his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Kilner (Kevin) of Charlestown, IN; son, Tyler York (Ashley) of Charlestown, IN; brother, Yancy York of Hanover, IN; grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Brady Kilner, Hadley York, and Maverick York.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 1pm at the American Legion Post 335 in Charlestown. Visitation will begin after 11am on Wednesday. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown handling arrangements.
