Tonia A. Lambert Pedigo

Tonia A. Lambert Pedigo, born on January 29, 1970, in New Albany, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2026, in Charlestown, Indiana. She leaves behind a loving family and a multitude of cherished memories that will forever be ingrained in the hearts of those who knew her.

Tonia dedicated a significant portion of her life to her career at Mitchell Plastics, formerly known as DA, Inc. Her professional journey was marked not only by her hard work but also by the relationships she fostered with colleagues, who admired her warm spirit and unwavering kindness.

Everyone who met Tonia loved and adored her. She had an infectious smile and a personality that drew people in—making her a pleasure to be around. Tonia built connections easily and got along with anyone, creating a rich tapestry of relationships over her lifetime.

Her passions extended beyond her work, as she cherished time spent with family and friends. With a zest for life, Tonia enjoyed camping trips, cookouts, and memorable moments in Gatlinburg. One of her fondest experiences was seeing the ocean for the first time and visiting Hawaii with her husband, Harvey Pedigo. She relished in the thrill of exploring Mammoth Cave and had delightful adventures kayaking with friends, Harvey and Jimmy. Tonia’s love for music shone through in her enjoyment of concerts and karaoke, activities that brought her immense joy and served as a backdrop for many happy gatherings filled with laughter and camaraderie.

Tonia took great pride in her family, particularly in her son, James Rakes III, her daughter, and her granddaughter, Breanna Ross. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Harvey, as well as her brother, Davey Lambert, and sister, Joann Bramer. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Breanna Ross and Cayden Blauvelt, who brought her immeasurable happiness.

Tonia is preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Ross, and her husband, Brent Ross, her mother, Betty Chapman, and her sister, Patricia Wiseman. Additionally, she remembered her special friend, Tammy Elston, with affection.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of her Life beginning at 2:00 PM. at Grayson Funeral Home, 893 High Street, Charlestown, IN 47111.

Tonia A. Lambert Pedigo will be remembered fondly for her vibrant spirit, the love she shared with her family, and the joy she spread among friends. Though she has departed from this world, her memory will be cherished by those who hold her dear.
