Mr Turner passed away Wednesday April 15, 2009 at his home.
He was born on July 4, 1919 in Crestwood, Ky the son of Ethridge Thomas and Ruth Lee Gill Turner. Mr. Turner was an independent brick mason, a welder at Jeffboat, and a small plane pilot.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Kursner Turner of Charlestown, IN; son Larry Turner of Scottsburg, IN; daughters Sheila Knowles of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Connie Standifer and Judy Turner both of Charlestown, IN; 2 nieces; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
