Mr. Merriman passed away on Sunday September 27, 2009 at Sellersburg Health & Rehab.
He was born on October 29, 1922 in Mercer Co., KY to John and Bessie Gatliff Merriman and was a retired supervisor for ICI Americas and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; Rose Mary Merriman, sons; Gerald and John Merriman of Charlestown, Daughter; Carol Tobey of Gainsville, GA; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren and four step-daughters and their families.
