Thomas Johnson Keeton, Jr., 89, of Charlestown, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Louisville, KY.
He was born on January 29, 1925 to Thomas and Edith (Fouts) Keeton, Sr., in New Albany, IN. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, and the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1427, and member of the American Legion Post 335. He is preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Suzanne Folck.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel (Nichols) Keeton of Charlestown, IN; sons, Michael Keeton of Georgetown, IN, Mark Keeton of Austin, IN, Steve Keeton of Lanesville, IN, and Thomas Keeton III of Louisville, KY; daughter, Andrea Keeton of New Albany, IN; step-son, Randy Nichols of Bay City, MI; 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday December 12, 2014 at 2pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. Visitation will be held on Friday after 10am till time of the service.
