Thelma Mae Simpson, 68, passed away at Kindred Hospital in Louisville on Thursday, May 19, 2011.
She was born on May 21, 1942 in Trimble County, KY the daughter of John and Lucy Gray Johnson. Thelma was a retired beautician.
Survivors include her daughter Liz Bower, Louisville; sons, Marvin Simpson (Bettyann), Clarksville, IN and Charlie Simpson (Jeanette), Scottsburg, IN; brothers, Frank Johnson, Jeffersonville, IN, Larry Johnson, Bardstown, KY and Russell Johnson, Campbellsburg, KY; granchildren, Jeremy and Jesica Bower, Joshua and Sean Simpson and Justin Simpson; great-grandchildren, Cody Densford, Wyatt Wheeler and Ryan Pettit; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, IN. Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 8 P.M. and after 9 A.M. Tuesday until time of service.
