Thelma Irene (Lumpkins) Kincaid

Thelma Irene Lumpkins Kincaid 96, of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Rolling Hills Healthcare Campus in New Albany, IN.

Thelma was born on February 6, 1928, in Utica, IN. to Albert and Meda Lentz Lumpkins.  She was a homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Edgar Blain Kincaid; sister, Edith May Dunn; and her brother, Steve Lumpkins.

Survivors include sons, Gary W Kincaid Sr. (Rita) of Borden, IN, and Clinnie ‘Clint’ Kincaid of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Jennifer Ann McCowan (Robbie), Jennifer Lynn Kincaid, and Gary Kincaid Jr.; great-grandchildren, Reese Allen Baker, Ryly Jackson Baker, Brynley McCowan, Ryder McCowan, Hunter Allen Tomes, and Trinity Tomes.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will also be on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
