Thelma Mae Crews, 91, of Charlestown died Friday at the Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
She was born on October 16, 1920 to Alva and Lovella Legg Rigg in Wabash County, IL She was a homemaker and a former employee of K-mart and a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother “Bud” Rigg and two sisters Rachel Hilgeman and Bernice Brines.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Luanne Jones (Rex) of Elizabeth, IN, brothers; Granville Rigg of Melbourne, FL and Dr. Emil Rigg of Hilton Head, SC, grandchildren; Brian Jones of Wheaton, IL, Kirsten Jones of St. Petersburg, FL, Devin Jones of Indianapolis, IN, Ethan Jones of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Chicody Mays of Elizabeth, IN., great grandchildren; Qwendolyn, Samuel, Teresa and Hezekiah Jones.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday January 5, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. C.S.T. at the Old Bethel Cemetery in Bellmont, IL. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN is in charge of arrangements.
