Theda Renee (Tanner) King

Theda Renee King 56, of Charlestown passed away of Monday May 17, 2021 at her home.

She was born on March 31, 1965 in New Albany, IN to Robert Lewis Tanner and Donna Jean Benton Tanner.  She was a loving housewife, mother and a member of the Church of God.  Theda is preceded in death by her mother, Donna Jean Tanner.

She is survived by her husband, Gary King; sons, Joshua Devine of Clarksville, IN, Jared Devine of Jeffersonville, IN and Jacob King of Charlestown; her father, Robert L. Tanner of Charlestown; brother, Roy L. Tanner of Brandenburg, KY; sisters, Bobbie Aldridge of Jeffersonville, Lois Fowler and Donna Dennison both of Sellersburg, IN and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday May 21, 2021 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will begin after 12:00 pm on Friday.

The family respectfully ask that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations toward funeral expenses.
