Tammy R. Cherry

Tammy R. Cherry 51 of Charlestown, IN lost her courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 17, 1973, in Jeffersonville, IN to George D. and Lela Kidd Cherry. Tammy was a former Certified Nursing Assistant.  Her mother, Lela Cherry, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Brady Britton (Madisen) of Charlestown, father, George D. Cherry (Doris Bower) of Charlestown, brothers, Michael D. Cherry (Michelle) of Charlestown, Joey D. Cherry (Toni) of Charlestown; sisters, Tonya Graebe (J.D.) of St. Joseph, Missouri, Ann King of Henderson, KY; grandson, James Britton and several nieces and nephews.

Life Celebration Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home, with a burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
