Tammie J. Blake

Tammie Blake, 56, of Shelbyville, Indiana, passed away on July 24, 2025.

Tammie was born on October 28, 1968, to the late Frank and Irene (Harper) Blake. She lived a joyful and loving life, surrounded by people who cared deeply for her.

Tammie was a longtime resident of a group home in Shelbyville, where she formed close bonds with her friends and caregivers. She worked for many years at Shares, Inc. as a piecemeal worker, where she took pride in her work and brought a cheerful spirit to everyone around her.

Tammie is survived by her brothers, Danny Blake of Henryville, IN, Jimmie Blake of Owensboro, KY, and Ronnie Blake of Otisco, IN; her nephew, Michael Boley (Heather); great-nephews, Clay Boley (Destiny) and Tate Boley (Sierra); and great-great-nephews, Oliver and Everett Boley.

Tammie will be remembered for her kind heart, her bright smile, and her ability to bring happiness to those around her. She was truly a light in the lives of many.
